Fairly clean hotel, accommodating staff like an ordinary staff member. Tidy rooms with 2 queen beds! Lots of goodies for breakfast. Reasonable base for exploring Spokane.
There was a too soft bed.

The cozy beds and modern decor. The access to the pool area was perfect for our family. My kids had a blast swimming and playing. The on-site restaurant was a good surprise, with very nice food that was so nice, we can't recommend the salmon enough!
Breakfast selection was somewhat limited.

I like the shower that it was actually a working one and not below the shoulder like some of the other hotels. The bed was comfortable. Just wish it was site that I was on and not a 3rd party site which I found out later that it was a 3rd party site and not a actual red lion site. It was nice to come to a room that wasnt cold or hot when walk in.

Closeness to downtown and venue we were attending. We also like the fact that the river trail runs behind the inn and is a great walking/running trail. My wife swears that these are the most comfortable beds she has experienced in a hotel!
I would like to have wi-fi available in the room (If it was there it was not made known to me). Our room toilet occasionally ran during the night. Hopefully that was fixed.

The room offered fine river views, but the bathroom sink only ran hot water.

The setting is very tranquil. My daughter & I enjoyed breakfasts outside watching birds in the gardens beside the river. The staff are friendly & helpful. We were very close to the arena where our "Women of Faith" event took place.

Toilet seat was broke, when you flushed the handle got stuck.

Loved the location by the river! We have also stayed at the Red Lion on the Park and we both prefered the River Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful, although they didn't have a corkscrew so bring your own if you want to uncork your wine! Loved the boardwalk all along the river and the outdoor patio with live music at the hotel restaurant. Not a luxury hotel but comfortable. We'd stay again!
The room had a few design flaws regarding clashing colours etc but that was minor.

I had a comfortable night in a quiet room, but breakfast was a letdown with everything served on single-use plastic. The kids enjoyed the pool, though!

The front desk personnel were very helpful. They really tried to solve the billing problem but couldn'T. It was a problem with writing two different checks for the same amount for two different rooms and the second one would not go through even thou there was money in the account. Not their fault and they were very nice.
They were very busy when we checked in and could of used more help.

The lack of elevators is a real pain when you are someone with a disability or are carrying heavy bags!!!!!!

The stay was pleasant with a clean, spacious room and a fun pool area that my kids loved. The modern decor, and the access to walking paths along the river was a nice bonus. The only downside was the limited breakfast options which could use improvement.
